Impact Kingdom Center is a part of a faith-based initiative called the Nurture Initiative.  This initiative came from the Office of First Lady Cecilia Abbott and focuses on providing help to the youth and families in the child welfare system.  The Nurture Initiative seeks to find loving homes, educate parents and provide support for the youth in foster care by promoting a partnership between DFPS and faith partners in Texas communities.  This year, Impact Kingdom Center participated in the nationally known "Blue Sunday" on Sunday, April 31, 2017.  We had a day of prayer for the children & adolescents in our community.  Also, Mrs. Ashley Smalls, Faith-Based Specialist for Region 6A, was a guest speaker to help to bring awareness to the individuals in our congregation and gave us more information about this vulnerable population.

2. Partnership with Texas Health & Human Services Commission in Community Partner Program

Impact Kingdom Center is an official Community Partner with the Texas Health & Human Services Commission.  As a Community Partner, we provide application assistance to individuals and families who are in need of benefits such as, health care (Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) & Healthy Texas Women programs), cash assistance (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)) and food assistance (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)).  For more information, go to www.texascommunitypartnerprogram.com , type in your zip code and search for a Community Partner near you.  If you are in the Greater Hobby area of Houston, type in our zip code (77051) and our address & other details will appear.......so come and see us. 

3. Partnership with Hartman Middle School

Impact Kingdom Center has partnered with Hartman Middle School to help tutor their 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in Reading, Writing and Math.&
